pulsed light treatment for acne, do not confuse with laser

Fight acne with the pulsed light is a treatment that will examine today. IPL is the acronym for " Intense pulsed light" laser technology (laser is not true) and you can not only treat acne and vascular lesions, but is also useful in cosmetic treatments like hair removal and cancellation marks. As the word itself is a flashing light that vaccations laser works on different lengths wave, not just one. Do not delete or remove tissues as would a laser or chemical peels such as IAD that "removes" one layer of skin, the pulsed light disinfects in depth instead of the bacteria responsible for 'acne. On the site of the National Center for Biotechnology Information you have published the results of an experiment done in the department of laser therapy in Maastricht, the Netherlands, here you can read the text.
The experiment for the treatment of 'acne with the pulsed light was performed on 60 patients, mean age 44 years, presenting with acne rosacea in the Fitzpatrick scale between the first and fourth grade. 508 were treated portions of skin (sites), with an average of 4.1 treatments per site. We used a frequency spectrum for the pulsed light that went from 515 to 1200 nm with different pulse durations between 4.3 and 6.5 milliseconds. The energy density ranged from 25 to 35 J/cm2. The patients were, after the IPL treatment, clinically evaluated and photographed. The study showed that 77.8% of cases solved the problem of 'acne with minimal side effects. Over the next 3 years only in 4 cases out of 508 is a re-escalation of acne, a sign that the treatment had been largely successful.
