O oday it comes to music or esoteric apocalyptic folk, if you prefer. Write
of Current 93 is not easy task because, as you Crowleyan you know, the architect of the team in question, namely David Tibet, brings with it a cultural background transships esoteric religions and from all the cracks. But I will do I load this burden, not because I feel very capable, but because I'm the last month in fixing a thousand.
But now we try to do a little 'light on the issue. The current
93, from which Tibet has deliberately taken the name is the name Aleister Crowley gave to his doctrine, which merged Satanism, magic, Freemasonry, New Age, sex and occult rituals of various kinds. David Tibet, who was fascinated by that doctrine, extends these are based on addressing these issues, in turn, life, death and apocalypse (no, no miracles this time) constantly calling the occult symbolism.

Nel 1987, invece, lo stile folk ebbe il sopravvento stillando, forse, la vena più caratteristica ed originale del progetto che nel 1992 promulgò la propria pietra filosofale : Thunder Perfect Mind .
Quello che invece oggi è oggetto di recensione, fu inciso nel 1994 e, come fanno intendere le note di Paranoid dei Black Sabbath sull'intro del primo pezzo, è un disco più rockeggiante ed aggressivo.
Anche questo ep (e chiamiamola ep una registrazione che dura mezzora...!) è composto da una triade, tre fasi di un cambiamento profondo: l'alllontanamento dalla filosofia luciferina; lo smarrimento e l'avvilimento causato dall'assenza di punti di riferimento; l'approccio - forse in senso lato - al cristianesimo esoterico .
Oltre a lasciar trasparire, come già detto, una componente più aggressiva rispetto ai lavori precedenti, Lucifer Over London è anche una transizione particolarmente sofferta in cui vengono descritti scenari impressionanti and sometimes touching. Among children
